Thursday, November 6th, 2008

Tips – on selecting and storing Oranges -  it is best to look for orange fruit that have a bright as well as “fresh” appearance and appearances .  If at all possible select those oranges that have a shiny, glossy skin and almost look as if they are too big , heavy and large for their size.  Next to keep citrus fruits fresh, store them in your fridge in the crisper portion ( keep them either loose , loosely packed or even loosely tied in a plastic bag).

All in all the orange’s will keep much longer in duration than if stored open in a fruit bowl at room temperatures.
