It can be more than said that the Napa Valley is among the best known if not the best known viticultural areas in the whole United States not only in the state of California. Located approximately one hour’s drive north and slightly east of San Fransisco Ca, the “Valleye” is about 25 ( twenty five) miles in length from its mouth on San Pablo Bay, to the south , to the foot of Mount St Helena in the north , and varies from three to five miles in width overall. It is separated from the Sonoma County, an adjacent wine region, by the Mayacamas Mountains , in the west, while its eastern boundary is deliniated by the ridge line of a range of low mountains.
